About Lea

Real work.
Not just talking.

I'm Lea Nicole Perry — an LMFT and doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD, anticipated 2027). My practice, Felt Sense Collective, exists because I believe the most meaningful change doesn't come from managing symptoms — it comes from genuinely understanding what's driving them. That distinction matters, and it shapes everything about how I work.

I've had the privilege of working alongside people across the full spectrum of human experience — in community mental health clinics, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, and in private practice. I've worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and that breadth of experience has taught me that people are far more complex, and far more resilient, than any single diagnosis or presenting problem suggests.

I approach this work from a holistic place. I'm a certified yoga instructor, and my belief that the mind, body, and relational world are inseparable isn't just philosophy — it shows up in how I listen, how I sit with someone, and what I pay attention to in the room. Healing rarely happens in one dimension.

My doctoral training has immersed me in the science of neuropsychological functioning — how the brain develops, organizes itself, and quietly shapes the way we think, feel, regulate, and connect. That knowledge doesn't make our work clinical or cold. It makes it more precise. I can hear things that haven't yet been put into words, and I bring that depth into every session without ever making you feel like a case.

Therapy with me is warm, direct, and genuinely exploratory. We will have real conversations. We will go to real places. And over time, my hope is that you'll come to know yourself in a way that actually changes how you live.

Services

What we work on together.

Individual therapy, offered virtually, for adults navigating the complexity of modern life. Sessions are $325 and run at your pace.

01

Anxiety & Overthinking

For the high-functioning person who never stops. We explore what's underneath the worry — the relational roots, the identity pressures, the impossibly high bar you hold yourself to. Not just coping tools, but actual understanding.

02

Life Transitions

Career pivots, relationship changes, emerging adulthood, identity shifts — transitions expose what we haven't yet integrated. Therapy as a space to slow down enough to actually choose, rather than just react.

03

Neurodivergent Coaching

For individuals with ADHD, ASD, or neurodivergent profiles navigating a world that wasn't designed with them in mind. Coaching — not therapy — focused on executive functioning, social skills, and building a life and lifestyle that actually fits how your brain works. Available across the lifespan.

04

Relationship Patterns

We repeat what we haven't resolved. Attachment-informed work helps you understand why you show up the way you do in relationships — with partners, family, and yourself — and start making more conscious choices.

05

Family Dynamics

The family we grew up in doesn't disappear when we leave it. It follows us into adulthood in subtle and not-so-subtle ways. We'll get curious about the roles you played, the rules you absorbed, and the ones you're ready to let go of.

06

Grief & Loss

Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and it isn't only about death. Loss of a relationship, a version of yourself, a future you imagined — this work holds space for mourning what deserves to be mourned.

07

Chronic Pain & Illness

Living with chronic pain or illness reshapes how you relate to your body, your identity, and the people around you. This work holds space for the grief, frustration, and quiet resilience that often go unacknowledged — exploring the psychological dimensions of physical experience with care and without minimizing.

08

Identity & Self-Worth

For people who have spent years being what others needed. We work toward a clearer, more grounded sense of who you actually are — separate from performance, approval, and perfectionism.

Not sure where to start? That's okay — that's what the consult is for.

Clinical Approach

How this work actually goes.

We go beneath the surface

Most of what drives us isn't fully conscious. We get curious about the patterns, the repetitions, and the things that make no logical sense but keep happening — and we work to actually understand them, not just manage them.

The relationship matters

How you show up in your relationships outside the session often shows up in here too. That's useful information. The space between us becomes part of the work — a place to notice, explore, and try things differently.

Mind, body, and history are connected

Your nervous system, your early experiences, and your present-day struggles are not separate things. We pay attention to all of it — including what the body is carrying that hasn't made it into words yet.

Paced to you

This isn't a protocol or a checklist. Sessions are collaborative and unhurried. We go at the speed that actually allows something to shift — not the speed that just fills the hour.

"This is not just talking to a friend. It's exploratory, relational, and designed to go somewhere — toward a life you've actually chosen."

Sessions are warm and conversational, but intentional. Over time, clients feel less stuck, more self-aware, and more like the author of their own life — rather than someone things just keep happening to.

You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis or a crisis. You just need to be ready to look a little more honestly at yourself — and willing to be surprised by what you find.

"You don't need to have it figured out before you reach out."

Who I Work With

You might be
exactly who I see.

You're thoughtful, capable, often high-achieving — and quietly carrying more than most people around you realize. You overthink, over-give, and wonder why doing everything "right" still leaves you feeling off. You don't need a crisis to deserve support. If any of this lands, you're in the right place.
